About Cleo
My piano teaching approach is all about helping students of all ages build strong technique, develop consistent practice habits, and truly enjoy playing. I believe music should feel both rewarding and fun, so every lesson is designed to keep you engaged and inspired. Whether you’re a child discovering your first melodies or an adult returning to the piano, I create a supportive space where you can learn at your own pace. I use music games, interactive exercises, and creative challenges to make technical skills feel natural and exciting. Backing tracks and rhythmic tools bring energy to each session, helping students play with confidence and groove. We explore both classical and popular pieces so that you stay motivated and connected to the music you love. For students who view music as a creative outlet or emotional release, I guide them in using piano as a form of expression and reflection. Those drawn to musical freedom and improvisation learn how to listen deeply, experiment, and find their own unique sound. I encourage curiosity, patience, and consistency—because true progress happens one joyful step at a time.

I’m a passionate piano tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I believe every student has their own musical voice, and my goal is to help you discover and develop it through personalised lessons. Whether you’re a beginner just learning to read notes or an advanced player refining your artistry, I tailor each session to your unique goals and pace. My lessons focus on key areas like chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to build a solid foundation and creative confidence. I make learning engaging and interactive, ensuring that each concept feels clear, fun, and achievable. My approach blends structure with inspiration, so students stay motivated while steadily improving their technique and musical understanding. Having taught in both classical and jazz styles, I encourage students to explore a variety of genres and discover what moves them most. I emphasise expressive playing, musical storytelling, and self-awareness at the piano. My supportive, patient teaching style helps learners feel comfortable taking risks and celebrating progress along the way.
