About Rafael
Teaching piano provides a direct way for me to share 13 years of technical knowledge with others. Students often find the instrument intimidating at first. I have worked with a wide range of individuals, from those just starting out to those preparing for grade exams.
My approach remains structured and grounded in the fundamentals of music theory. I guide learners through complex areas such as sight playing and chord voicing to ensure they gain genuine control. Helping you develop a solid foundation is the primary goal of my instruction.

Many pianists struggle to coordinate their hands while maintaining consistent pedalling technique during contemporary pieces. 7 specific technical pillars form the core of my teaching methodology.
During my 13 years of instruction, I have refined these exercises to simplify sight transposition and pop chord voicing for everyone. You will benefit from the academic rigor associated with my Master of Music degree from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. We examine the mechanics of your performance to build lasting confidence at the keyboard. My instruction emphasizes clear structure and curiosity to ensure you reach your musical destination with total clarity.
