About Finn
As a Spanish tutor, my teaching approach centers on compassion, communication, creativity, and accountability. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel safe to express themselves and make mistakes. My lessons focus on real-life conversations, vocabulary building, and grammar understanding, helping students connect what they learn to everyday situations.
I use creative activities, such as role-plays and interactive games, to make learning fun and engaging. I emphasize the importance of accountability, encouraging students to take ownership of their progress and set achievable goals. Additionally, I cover relevant topics like culture, literature, and current events to deepen their understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. I'm an experienced Spanish tutor with 8 years of teaching high school and college students. Throughout my career, I've successfully taught 150-200 students, helping them build confidence in their speaking and writing skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I believe that real-life conversations and practical examples are key to mastering a language.
