About Silvia
I am a student of foreign languages and literatures. I graduated with honors in 2017 in the three-year degree course in European Languages and Cultures at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In the year 2015-2016 I spent 9 months in Erasmus in Paris at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3. In high school I had already obtained a double Italian-French diploma (Baccalauréat mention Très Bien). I am currently enrolled in the Master's degree course in Languages, Cultures and Communication at the Unimore University. I have a French C2 level (I will soon get the DALF certification), English C1 (First certificate) and Spanish B1. For some years now I have been offering language rehearsals to middle and high school children, but also to adults wishing to improve their foreign language level.

My teaching method adapts to the needs and level of the student. In the case of middle school and high school children in difficulty, I usually follow the school program, reinforcing it and trying to fill in the gaps and clarify the doubts. Generally, a first part of the lesson focuses on grammar and correction of any written tasks or productions, while a second part is dedicated to written and oral comprehension (by watching movies together) and dialogue and oral production. As for adults, the program is built together based on the level, needs and interests of the student. Lessons are usually thematic (current topics or students' interest) and focus in particular on written and oral comprehension (reading of songs and books and video viewing) and on oral production (summaries, comments, discussion on what has been seen /bed). In this way you can implement your vocabulary and at the same time review the grammar arguments that can cause uncertainty in the expression.
