About Thabo Tankiso
With nearly three years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development and Network Technology, I bring expertise in crafting comprehensive web solutions and managing robust network systems. At Vaal University of Technology, I honed my skills as a Junior Network Technician, contributing significantly to provisioning the university's network infrastructure. With over 223 Wi-Fi Access Points and 10+ distribution switches, I ensured stable connections, proficiently creating network cables and meeting necessary standards. I collaborated effectively with IT colleagues, played a pivotal role in inventory management, and contributed to the optimization of the university's technological ecosystem.
During my tenure in freelance work, I led as a Full Stack Developer and dedicated time to facilitating workshops and mentoring sessions, including collaborations with Africa Kids Code to teach programming in CSS and HTML to young minds. I maintained strict confidentiality while spearheading projects like the Path Pioneer platform.
