About Leah

With 12 years of tutoring experience, I have had the pleasure of teaching guitar to high school and college students, successfully guiding 200-300 students on their musical journeys. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe in tailoring lessons to each student’s unique interests and goals, whether they’re exploring classical, jazz, electric, bass, or acoustic guitar. My approach combines clear communication, honest feedback, and collaborative goal-setting to ensure steady progress and a deep love for music. Notable achievements include helping students excel in competitions and exams, and seeing many develop into skilled, passionate musicians.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for guitar is built on Communication, Integrity, Diplomacy, and Collaboration. I focus on clear, open dialogue to understand each student’s musical goals and preferences. With over 12 years of experience, I teach various guitar styles—classical, jazz, electric, bass, and acoustic—ensuring lessons are tailored to individual needs. I practice Integrity by providing honest feedback and setting achievable goals. Diplomacy helps me address any challenges or concerns, while Collaboration ensures we work together to achieve the best results. In addition to guitar, I can also guide students in music theory, ear training, and songwriting, enhancing their overall musicianship.
