About Mason
I’m a guitar tutor with a Bachelor of Music in World Music (Guitar Traditions) and 4 years of teaching experience. My passion is blending academic knowledge with the real-world excitement of metal, shred, and progressive rock. I help students build blistering speed, precision, and advanced shred techniques. Lessons are designed to be challenging yet approachable. We cover alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and legato runs in depth. I work with young learners discovering their passion and adults who want to refine advanced skills. Every student gets a personalized path tailored to their needs. I emphasize discipline in practice while also encouraging creativity. My world music training adds unique rhythmic and melodic tools to lessons. This gives students new ways to express themselves. I aim to create a balance between technical mastery and musical voice. Lessons are supportive, motivating, and fun. If your goal is to shred with confidence, I’m here to help you get there.
