About Sienna
My teaching methodology is designed to help students explore and develop their unique vocal identity while building a versatile, healthy technique. I emphasize tone color, genre adaptation, and technical diversity, guiding singers to express themselves authentically across a wide range of styles. We work on foundational skills like belting safely, navigating smooth register transitions, and creating expressive contrast to suit different musical contexts. From the dramatic storytelling of musical theater to the intimate subtlety of indie, I help students understand the emotional and stylistic nuances each genre demands. Lessons balance structured technical progression with space for creative exploration, encouraging experimentation with phrasing, dynamics, and personal expression. Breath control, resonance, and articulation are integrated into every exercise, supporting both vocal freedom and longevity. For those pursuing emotional depth, artistic exploration, or high-level performance goals, I provide targeted guidance and feedback to help them reach their ambitions. I nurture confidence, musicality, and stage presence while honoring each singer’s individuality. I’m a vocal coach and performer with over 8 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. My teaching takes a holistic approach, combining physical alignment, breath awareness, and expressive vocal technique. I believe a strong connection between body, mind, and voice is key to unlocking true vocal potential.
I incorporate yoga-inspired vocal warmups, body mapping, and tension release techniques into every session. These practices help singers access their voice safely and efficiently while deepening body awareness. My lessons are designed to nurture both technical skill and expressive freedom, creating a balanced and mindful learning environment.
I am passionate about genres like World Music, Chanting, Folk Fusion, and Healing Sound. I love helping students explore the emotional richness and cultural depth within their singing. Every lesson is an opportunity to discover new tones, textures, and expressive possibilities.
