About Simone
My teaching method for singers who thrive in ensemble settings or live instrumental performance—like The Quartet Player and The Fiddler—focuses on building confident stage presence, expressive delivery, and vocal control. We work on developing breath support and stamina through targeted exercises that strengthen core engagement and breath pacing for long sets or group performances. Posture and alignment are key elements I reinforce to support vocal projection and poise under stage lights. I teach microphone technique as a tool of expression—how to work proximity, angles, and volume dynamics to your advantage. We also explore diction and articulation so that every lyric lands with clarity and emotion, even in high-energy or acoustically challenging venues. For those navigating harmonies or blending with instruments, we do focused ear training and phrasing work. Song choices are curated to match each student’s vocal strengths and emotional comfort zone while stretching their storytelling range. I incorporate movement exercises to free up tension and build natural stage charisma. Through video feedback and presence drills, students can watch their growth and adjust in real time. I also introduce vocal stamina apps and digital tools to track progress, stay consistent, and prepare for real-world gigs. My goal is to help each performer trust their voice and connect with any audience from the heart. With time, practice, and intentional work, even the shyest singer can become a magnetic presence on stage.

I’m a vocal coach and performer with over 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. I specialize in helping singers grow both technically and artistically, with a focus on R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian genres. Whether you're a hobbyist looking to sing for joy or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor each lesson to your personal goals.
My sessions combine traditional vocal training with modern tools like DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones. I guide students in preparing for studio sessions—teaching how to shape tone, layer harmonies, and deliver clean vocal takes. We also dive into songwriting, where I help refine lyrics, structure melodies, and create phrasing that feels emotionally real.
Lyric interpretation is a big part of how I teach—understanding the story behind the song helps unlock authentic expression. I also work on dynamic control, register transitions, and the stylistic nuances that bring your voice to life.
