About Tara
I am a motivational and encouraging chess tutor with a passion for teaching students from beginner to advanced levels. My sessions are designed to inspire and build confidence, helping each student discover their potential and love for the game. With over seven years of experience, I bring enthusiasm and dedication to every lesson.
I am organized and structured in my teaching approach, ensuring that each session follows a clear and logical progression. We cover essential topics such as openings, middlegame strategies, endgame techniques, and tactics. By using real-life examples and case studies, I make complex concepts easy to understand and apply.
As an empathetic and understanding tutor, I tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. I am a problem-solver and creative thinker, always looking for innovative ways to explain strategies and improve skills. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to excel in chess.

I teach students from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on developing their passion and skills in chess. My sessions are structured and organized, ensuring a clear progression in learning. We cover topics like openings, middlegame strategies, endgame techniques, tactics, and positional play. Real-life examples and case studies are frequently used to illustrate key concepts and strategies.
One of my students, for instance, went from a novice to winning local tournaments within a year by following my comprehensive training program. We also delve into advanced topics such as pawn structures, piece coordination, attacking strategies, defensive techniques, and game analysis. Each topic is broken down into manageable lessons, making it easier to grasp and apply.
My teaching method includes interactive sessions, where students actively participate in solving puzzles and playing practice games. I provide personalized feedback and tailor the lessons to meet individual needs. Additionally, we analyze famous games from chess history to understand the thought processes of grandmasters and learn from their strategies.
To ensure continuous improvement, I conduct regular assessments and provide detailed feedback. This helps in identifying strengths and areas for improvement, guiding students on their path to becoming proficient chess players.
