Ricky did a wonderful job of teaching ASL class. He not only educated us on signing but also on the deaf community and culture. He was patient and encouraged questions. He has a great sense of humor too, which helps keep class engaging.

Ricky and I have known each other for over 20yrs. He cares about his teachings. When I first met him, he was teaching elementary school. His students absolutely adored him and you could see the passion for teaching everytime we walked into the classroom. His friends and family love him and he lights up the room with his upbeat attitude and bursting personality. When I hired on an employee who uses ASL, Ricky was the first person I wanted to talk to. He set up with his tutoring and gave a thorough history of ASL. He taught me how to be respectful, inviting, open and educated towards the ASL community. He is very engaging and makes classes fun.
