About Marie
As a French tutor with over 15 years of experience teaching college learners, I aim to make French feel accessible and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on strong communication skills, easy explanations, and engaging activities. I believe that learning becomes easier when students understand how the language works in real conversation.
I include digital exercises, audio resources, vocabulary challenges, and conversation tasks to help students improve step by step. I also add cultural learning—like French traditions, phrases, and everyday expressions—to help students connect with the language beyond grammar rules. I tailor my lessons to meet individual goals.

My teaching methodology for French uses Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management to help students achieve strong and lasting language skills. Before starting lessons, I learn about the student’s goals, strengths, and challenges. This helps me build a personalized plan for their success.
Motivation plays a big role in my lessons. I guide students with positive reinforcement, regular feedback, and achievable goals. When learners feel encouraged, they participate more and learn faster.
Communication is at the heart of my method. I teach French through real conversations, common phrases, and everyday topics. Students practice speaking in every lesson. I also include listening tasks, pronunciation sessions, and quick speaking activities to help them sound natural and confident.
Creativity brings life into language learning. I use picture activities, storytelling, mini-dialogues, and interactive exercises. These methods help students understand grammar and vocabulary through context rather than memorization.
Time Management ensures every lesson is useful. I follow a structured flow: review, new lesson, guided practice, activities, and feedback. I also help students build a study schedule they can follow independently.
Besides French, I can teach communication skills, reading comprehension, writing basics, and other language-related areas. My goal is to make learning easy, comfortable, and inspiring.
