About Harper
Language should feel like a natural extension of your own personality rather than a rigid set of textbook rules. A faint sound of a street market hums in the background of my best role play exercises. I focus on pronunciation and everyday phrases for beginners to get you talking immediately. My 15 years of experience mean I can adapt our pace to suit any adult learner.
We look at cultural context to make sure you sound like a local. It is satisfying to watch the pieces of a new language click together.

Holding a MA TESOL and a BA in French and Spanish from UTS provides the foundation for my teaching. I remember sitting in a small cafe in Paris when I realized how important cultural context is to true communication.
My 15 years of experience focus on hobbyists and adult learners who want to speak with precision. I use clear methods to teach liaison and nasal sounds.
Grammar is not a chore when you understand the logic behind the rules. I help students prepare for interviews or navigate travel French with ease.
