About Robin roy
I’m a Master’s qualified accounting professional with over 8 years of real-world experience, and I know firsthand how overwhelming accounting can feel at first. Early in my career, I struggled with topics that seemed purely theoretical until I started applying them in real business situations. That shift changed everything, and it’s the same approach I now use when teaching.
I focus on explaining accounting in a simple, practical way, using real examples instead of abstract rules. Students often tell me that concepts finally “click” because I show how they are actually used in the workplace, not just how they appear in textbooks or exams.
My lessons are structured, friendly, and adapted to your pace. I’m patient, professional, and genuinely invested in helping you build confidence whether you’re a student preparing for exams or a professional strengthening your accounting skills.

1.Building strong fundamentals first, then progressing to advanced applications
2.Explaining concepts using real-world business examples drawn from my 8 years of professional experience
3.Breaking down complex standards and problems into simple, logical steps
4.Encouraging active problem-solving, not passive listening
5.Regularly checking understanding and adjusting pace to the student’s level
I adapt my methodology depending on whether the student is preparing for exams, struggling with coursework, or aiming to apply accounting in a professional setting.
