About Samuel

I can help students of any ability work up to their goals through proven revision and practice methods to improve their grades. I experienced this myself when I worked with a tutor to improve my Chemistry A-level grade to an achieved A from struggling to achieve Cs.

I am currently completing the final year of my integrated Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering (MEng) at the University of Surrey, including a year working as a professional Systems Design Engineer. I have worked on designing CubeSat satellites, applying mathematics and physics, including some I learnt during my A-levels.

I want to help students achieve their best grades to allow them to pursue their dream careers. I have been lucky enough to be able to pursue this dream for myself, working as an engineer in the space industry. This was only possible due to my success in my A-levels, where I achieved As in all the subjects I tutor in.

About the lesson

I know finding motivation to improve your grades can be challenging, especially when you aren't seeing progress quickly, or your teachers aren't providing lessons that will keep you engaged. I work to provide personalised lessons for students that will motivate them directly and help them to see results more quickly, without offering the same generic advice as every student hears in every assembly.
I'm happy to do lessons from 45-90 minutes, as I find that this works best for most students and I'm flexible to work around your schedule.
I am ready to work with students at GCSE and A-level levels from Years 9-13 focusing on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
