About Alison
I have always had a strong passion for Biology and a genuine interest in teaching. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others understand the fascinating world of science. As a master’s student specialising in ecology, zoology, and conservation, I am particularly enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation to appreciate and explore Biology. I want to help develop young minds, build students’ confidence, and encourage them to become curious and independent learners. I believe Biology can be an exciting and rewarding subject, and I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student. Seeing a student progress and develop their understanding is something I would find incredibly rewarding.

As a Biology master’s student, I have developed a strong understanding of biological concepts and enjoy helping others build their confidence in the subject. Having achieved an A in A Level Biology, I understand the challenges students may face and can explain complex topics in a clear, simple, and engaging way. My studies specialise in ecology, zoology, and conservation, giving me particular knowledge and enthusiasm in these areas. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, whether they need support with key concepts, exam preparation, or exam technique. I am patient, approachable, and passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
