About Sally Ann
I am 22 years old and I have a true passion for Mathematics. In March, I will begin a 10 month long internship with the highly esteemed engineering company Stryker, Cork.
I am really outdoorsy; I love hiking, swimming, running and scuba diving.
I believe I could be a great tutor for any young adult looking to learn more about the leaving cert mathematics syllabus.

As a hobby, I volunteer with a Dublin based charity teaching mathematics to children between 8-15 with additional learning needs. I learned how to teach people at all levels thanks to this difficult but rewarding challenge.
I attended the Institute of Education in Dublin City centre on Leeson street. I am now in my 3rd year of a Masters of Biomedical Engineering.
In my college course, we study incredibly complex mathematics. This allowed me to apply the basics I learned at leaving cert level. As a result, I can teach secondary school level with a deep comprehension of the methodology. I encourage understanding why, rather than just learning off methods. This helps to tackle more difficult questions in the exam.
I have brought student up 2-3 grades after only a few lessons. I can do both online and remote lessons.
Each week I will give questions via email to work on based on the material from that week. The following week, it will be corrected and I can answer all questions.
Lessons can be between 1-2 hours depending on the individual.
I am available to do a free introductory call where we can discuss specific struggles within the subject and the teaching style that works best for you.
