I am passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in history. My goal is to create a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing a deeper understanding of the subject.
I take a personalized approach to every lesson because I know that every student learns differently. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, improving your grades, writing essays, or understanding challenging historical concepts, I will tailor each session to your individual goals and learning style.

My approach to tutoring history is centered on making the subject engaging, relatable, and easy to understand. Rather than having students memorize dates and names, I focus on helping them understand why historical events happened, how they connect to one another, and why they still matter today. I believe students learn best when they're encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and make connections between the past and the present.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous material and identifying any areas that need clarification. From there, we'll break down new topics into manageable sections using discussion, timelines, maps, primary sources, and practice questions. I also help students develop effective note-taking, reading comprehension, and test-taking strategies so they feel more confident in the classroom.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex topics in a simple, understandable way. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal isn't just to help students earn better grades, but to help them build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of history.
My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and introductory college students. Whether you're preparing for an exam, writing essays, catching up in class, or simply looking to strengthen your understanding of history, I tailor each lesson to your individual learning style and academic goals.
