About Iven
I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry and have over 5 years of experience teaching students from various academic levels. From secondary school to undergraduate studies, I’ve worked with learners of different abilities and backgrounds, helping them develop a strong foundation in core chemical principles. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, relevance, and critical thinking. I adapt my methods based on each student’s pace and preferred learning style, ensuring the lessons are engaging and effective. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into manageable concepts and use visuals, experiments, and relatable examples to enhance understanding. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with current developments in the field of chemistry through academic literature and online training. My Chemistry lessons are designed to provide a deep and structured understanding of key topics tailored to each student’s academic level. I focus on Inorganic Chemistry and Thermodynamics, combining conceptual clarity with practical problem-solving. Each session is interactive, structured, and based on a clear learning path aligned with academic goals.
In Inorganic Chemistry, I guide students through periodic properties, chemical bonding, and coordination compounds, using real-world examples and visual tools for better retention. For Thermodynamics, I break down the laws of energy, enthalpy changes, and spontaneity in chemical reactions, making complex topics approachable with diagrams, step-by-step calculations, and everyday applications.
My lessons also include thorough preparation for assignments, lab reports, and exams. I provide practice questions, detailed feedback, and strategies for tackling both objective and descriptive problems. Whether students aim to boost grades, master the syllabus, or gain confidence, my lessons are structured to support every goal effectively.
