Master’s-Degree Piano Teacher & Concert Pianist | 25+ Years’ Experience | All Ages & Levels | Online

Richard is a wonderful teacher. He has been teaching my teenage daughter and has a wonderful balance of bringing technical skill, and understanding the importance of helping his students find the joy in music. It is a gift that he shares his immense musical talent with young musicians. I love seeing my daughter enjoy playing again.

I have been receiving piano lessons from Richard since November 2019 and have found him to be an enormously encouraging and patient teacher. He explains things clearly and simply, is generous with his time, covers lots of ground without ever rushing and gives me lots of feedback and plenty to work on in between lessons. I feel as if I’ve made a lot of progress during just a couple of months and really can’t recommend him highly enough.

I've been receiving piano lessons from Richard for 7 years, and I have to say that this piano teacher has been really amazing to work with. He is a friendly guy and a very patient, positive and enthusiastic teacher. His piano lessons are well-prepared and very inspiring. Richard honestly exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Richard to anyone who wants to learn to play piano, improve their level or technique, or develop their musicality.

I played piano for more than 10 years and had several teachers, most of my interactions with them were stiff and scary, some others where not serious. But then my mom found out about Richard, he has been (hands down) the most incredible piano teacher I've ever had, he is incredibly talented, amazing pianist with a palpable passion for the art, but he is also understanding and quite honestly the time where I enjoy playing the most was when he help me discover and develop my own connection to the pieces I liked, 100 % recommend Richard

I've known Richard for 15 years, having initially met him in the Netherlands, where I began taking piano lessons under his guidance. Richard is not only an exceptional pianist but also an incredibly kind, modest and patient teacher. I am confident that you would enjoy working with him.
Additionally, he has been giving piano lessons to my kids, and I'm very impressed by the way he motivates my children and continuously enhances their level, both technically and musically, while making the learning experience enjoyable for them.
I believe that, with many years of teaching experience, he masters the skills to instruct students of all levels, ages and music styles. I highly recommend Richard for piano lessons, whether for adults or children, and for any level or music style.
