About Mary
Born and raised in South Carolina, I developed a love for writing music at a young age. I graduated from the University of South Carolina, and then I began my English career as a songwriter when I moved to Atlanta. I later discovered my love for teaching the English language to my Spanish-speaking colleagues. I began teaching English to students online while I pursued my Masters degree in Teaching ESOL. I now teach in an Intensive English program to 9th grade students in a public school setting. Personally, I love to sing, write, read, spend time with my family, cook, and be in nature.
