About Thea
I hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have been teaching for over 5 years across various academic levels, including undergraduate and graduate students. My background includes both academic instruction and industry experience, which gives my students a balanced perspective between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications. My teaching approach combines structured content delivery with active student engagement. I believe economics becomes easier when you connect concepts to current events, trends, and policies. I encourage discussions, questions, and analytical thinking during lessons, making sure students are not just memorising but truly understanding the subject matter. Outside the classroom, I actively follow economic policy updates, market trends, and research papers to keep my lessons relevant and insightful. I regularly upgrade my teaching materials and incorporate data-driven examples. My economics lessons are tailored to suit the academic level and learning pace of each student. Key areas I specialise in include Microeconomics and International Trade. These subjects often involve graphical analysis, numerical reasoning, and theoretical interpretation. I help students understand demand-supply models, elasticity, trade theories, and policy impacts using clear explanations, practice questions, and detailed feedback. Lessons also include real-life policy applications to strengthen comprehension. I integrate assignment support and exam training as part of the learning process. Students receive help in drafting structured answers, understanding marking criteria, and reviewing sample papers. My goal is not only to help students score well but to build their ability to think critically about economic issues and apply theories practically.
