About Katie
I am a motivated Guitar tutor with 16 years of teaching experience. I specialise in training high school and college students who want to build strong guitar skills with proper guidance. Over the past two years, I have worked with nearly 300–350 students. One of my career highlights was guiding beginners to perform confidently in college cultural events. Many students who were once nervous about holding a guitar now play full songs with confidence. Their success is my biggest reward as a teacher. My lessons focus on chord strength, rhythm accuracy, timing control, and clean strumming. I help students understand music instead of just memorising patterns. I also encourage regular practice and steady improvement. Education is the foundation of success, and I believe music education builds both confidence and discipline. My goal is to shape skilled and confident guitar players who enjoy learning for life.

My teaching methodology for guitar is based on communication, accountability, and integrity. I believe learning becomes easy when students feel comfortable communicating. I explain each topic simply and make sure students clearly understand before moving forward. Accountability helps students stay responsible for their improvement. I guide them to follow a steady practice routine and complete their daily exercises sincerely. I regularly check their progress and help them overcome difficulties. I also remain accountable by giving full dedication to every class. Integrity means teaching with honesty and strong discipline. I focus on proper basics such as tuning, finger placement, chord accuracy, strumming technique, rhythm control, and scale practice. I guide students without shortcuts. Along with guitar, I also teach basic music theory, timing and rhythm training, ear training, beginner songwriting, and performance confidence. These subjects help students understand music deeply. My goal is to shape disciplined, confident, and skilled guitar players through steady learning and honest guidance.
