As a tutor, I focus on building both confidence and deep understanding. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs whether they’re preparing for IB exams, catching up in class, or looking to push ahead. I break down complex concepts in Biology and Chemistry into approachable, visual explanations and always connect content to real-world examples to make it stick.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review to identify sticking points, followed by guided practice, discussion, and some active recall strategies. I prioritize inquiry-based learning, which helps students develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for IB success.

What sets me apart is my background. I've taught science in high schools for 10 years, including IB DP and MYP, and have the ability to adapt to different learning styles. My students range from high schoolers taking IB or AP courses to college freshmen who need a solid foundation. My goal is to make science feel less intimidating and more meaningful, one lesson at a time.
