About Alfie
I am a masters graduate physicist with a 2:1 in Physics hoping to inspire my students the same way I was inspired during my A levels, about the wonders of Physics and maths. Encouraging curiosity is at the forefront of my priorities and I hope to inspire excitement at the forefront of physics research whilst focusing students and preparing them with the knowledge required to pass their dreaded final exams.
My Physics expertise covers a broad range of topics with a focus on astrophysics, particle physics, quantum physics and nuclear physics, allowing for students to get an insight into a broad range of physics topics.
I believe patience and empathy to be the two most important skills required to ensure students get the educational support required and I endeavour to tailor my teaching ability to every students individual needs.
Additionally I am fully DBS cleared for working with students under the age of 18 and have the students wellbeing at the forefront of my lessons at any time. I have taken training modules in student wellbeing to faciliate this and will always put my all into ensuring the student gets the most out of our sessions.

Foucsing on exams, I'll help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to excel, ensuring you're fully prepared to tackle any challenge with confidence. I will always encourage revision outside of hours and hope to provide exam papers and resources that will facilitate the revision process for students and help them identify areas where I can help to bolster their knowledge.
Together, we will turn your weaknesses into strengths, provide you with the skills for your exams and make learning Physics an exciting journey along the way.
