I've been in dozens of classrooms over the last several years and have worked with a variety of individuals with a variety of needs. I've found that my passion for both education and my content area inspires students to enjoy the learning experience and take the experiences to heart.

For my undergraduate degrees, I studied Advertising and Film Writing at Northern Arizona University. However, I discovered that my true passion was teaching. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University and am anticipating completing my Masters in Secondary Education by May 2017.
My lesson plans are teen-friendly and, while they focus on content and teaching the necessary skills to be successful in the workplace, I like to use a variety of learning strategies to appeal to unique learning styles. I believe that by building a lesson around the questions a student should be able to answer by the end of a unit, everything the student learns has a purpose and allows them to use their knowledge in ways that are also applicable in real-world situations.
