About Chloe

I’m currently pursuing my masters in innovation and management at Imperial College London. I completed my bachelors in pharmaceutical sciences and sustainable chemistry. I love science and turning ideas into new businesses and want to help students become more confident in the sciences. Outside of school, I love skiing, sports, and have a dog named Kenzo :)

About the lesson

In each lesson I start by going through topics, sometimes labelling them green orange red to get a better understanding of what they are stuck on. I use the teach-back method, allowing the student to become independent and if they are stuck, help them fill any gaps in their knowledge. For problems and calculations, I start by showing a problem myself then allowing the student to go through on a similar question with the same method so they learn how to apply it themselves. I also help them with exam material how an examiner grades questions so they have the best techniques for success. I aim to create an environment where students feel confident and use mistakes as a way to learn. Depending on their age, I sometimes create fun and engaging games for them to learn.
