About Kobe
Hi, my name is Kobe! I am a dedicated high school student with experience in advanced math courses, and I enjoy helping others understand concepts that may initially seem difficult. I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain problems in different ways until they make sense.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and help them become more independent when solving math problems.

My name is Kobe, and my approach to tutoring is to make math easier to understand by breaking difficult concepts into smaller, manageable steps. I focus on understanding the “why” behind each problem instead of just memorizing formulas, and I adjust my teaching style based on what each student needs.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing what the student already knows and identifying areas they are struggling with. From there, I explain the concept step-by-step, work through a few examples together, and then have the student try problems independently while I provide guidance when needed. I also make sure to leave time for questions and review at the end.
What sets me apart is that I am currently a high school student who has taken advanced math courses, so I understand the challenges students face in these classes. I can explain concepts in a straightforward way and relate to students who may feel overwhelmed or confused by math.
My lessons are mainly for middle school and high school students who need help with general math, pre-algebra, algebra, or want extra practice and support with their classwork and homework.
