About Jackson

I am an aspiring physicist. I have given math lessons before and have had great success, but have had no formal training. I one-on-one tutored my best friend in precalculus/trigonometry, boosting his C- to an A. I am confident that I can not only help your grade, but also your understanding and appreciation of the topic. I have research experience in astronomy so I understand the applications of math.

About the lesson

I like to run through examples that illustrate the breadth of the topic. I want my fellow students to learn how to think about the topic. Memorizing equations and results are boring and not productive. Instead, the student will learn why certain relations are true and how to expand on their learning.
