Hello! I’m Nydia, a bilingual Math and IT tutor with a civil-engineering background and 13 years of teaching experience. I’ve worked with teens and adults in classrooms and professional settings, and I’ve trained other teachers as well. Hi, I’m Nydia—a math and IT tutor with an engineering background. My methodology blends clear, step-by-step explanations with real-world applications and friendly accountability. We start with a quick diagnostic and set weekly micro-goals. A typical 60-minute class: 5-minute warm-up, 10-minute review, 30 minutes of guided practice or a small project (e.g., algebra problems, trigonometry visuals, or an Excel/HTML task), 10 minutes of independent practice, and a 5-minute reflection with next steps. What sets me apart: calm, patient coaching, bilingual support (EN/ES), and structured notes + progress tracking after each lesson. Who I teach: Grades 6–12 and adult learners who want solid foundations in arithmetic, algebra, or trigonometry, or practical IT skills (digital literacy, Google/Microsoft tools, Excel, HTML/CSS basics).
