About Waseem

I have done private tutoring for a while having tutored students sitting their GCSE and A Level examinations. The last three students I taught were two GCSE students who were at a grade D and grade B and an A level student who was achieving a grade B. After having been tutored, they all moved up a grade with the grade D candidate achieving a B, his previous lack in grade was due to lack of understanding of basic concepts which teachers in school don't have the time to sit down and aid with.

About the lesson

I have recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Mathematics having attained an upper second class grade. I would want to tutor students who are in school, ranging from KS3 to A levels. I believe understanding concepts is the key to success, I would thus ensure that all my students understand concepts instead of trying to memorise a method and repeating it in an exam.
