As a tutor, my approach is centered on clarity, patience, and building deep understanding rather than rote memorization. I focus on helping students grasp the why behind math concepts so they can apply them confidently in class, on exams, and in real-world contexts. I use a mix of visual explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and relatable examples—often drawn from data science or everyday situations—to make abstract math feel more intuitive.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in on homework or recent topics, followed by targeted concept review. Then we work through practice problems together, increasing difficulty gradually and pausing to address any confusion. I always encourage questions and aim to create a relaxed, no-pressure environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex ideas in simple, logical ways. I tailor my sessions to each student's learning style—whether they’re more visual, hands-on, or analytical. With my background in data science, I also bring a real-world perspective to math, which helps students see the purpose behind what they're learning.
