About Mia

My math lessons are designed for students aiming to excel in exams like the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. Each session is intensive and focused on solving problems efficiently under pressure. Every exercise is designed to strengthen problem-solving and mental resilience. I provide personalized guidance to ensure you approach each section strategically. Feedback is specific and actionable, helping you improve step by step. By the end of our sessions, you’ll enter your exam fully prepared and confident.

About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master’s in Computational Mathematics. I focus on making advanced math accessible and meaningful, especially for students outside STEM fields. Many of my students are from liberal arts or humanities backgrounds, and I enjoy helping them discover math in a new light.

I use everyday analogies to make abstract ideas more intuitive. Historical context often brings these concepts to life, showing how mathematical discoveries have shaped knowledge over centuries.

I highlight the big ideas behind topics like functions, trigonometry, and calculus, helping students see patterns and connections across the subject. Lessons are tailored, interactive, and designed to build confidence gradually. I work patiently with students who have struggled with math before, helping to replace fear with curiosity.
