About the lesson

Tutor Lesson Outline: Mathematics Grade 8, 9, and 10. My lessons contain the following: I. Introduction: Where we greet each other and review previous topics covered. II. Warm-up Activity: Quick mental math exercises or problem-solving puzzles to engage the students. III. Topic Introduction: Overview of the day's lesson and what to expect in the lessons (learning objectives) IV. Conceptual Learning: We will have an in-depth explanation of mathematical concepts. V. Practice Exercises: Guided practice problems and solo practices with immediate feedback and clarification of doubts. VI. Review and Summary: We will recap the key concepts covered during the lesson. At the same time, addressing any remaining doubts or questions. Preview of next lesson (if applicable) VIII. Homework Assignment: Assigning relevant exercises or problems for independent practices Encouragement to seek help if needed Approach to Private Tutoring: I highly believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I aim to teach mathematical concepts and help with their problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Unique Methodology: Hands-on activities, using past papers while explaining, and explaining the "why" behind mathematical procedures instead of just memorizing formulas. Languages Proficient: I am proficient in English and can teach in English. Students Aimed At: My lessons are aimed at students in grades 8 and 9. Hourly Rate:

My standard rate is R95/hour, which applies to individual sessions. This option is great if you prefer to book lessons as you need them, without committing to a package.
Packages (Save More with Bundles):

5-hour package: R475. This option is designed for students who want regular tutoring but aren’t ready to commit long-term. It’s convenient and helps you save by bundling lessons.
10-hour package: R950. Perfect for students who need consistent tutoring over a longer period. This package offers the best value for money and ensures you have enough time to cover topics thoroughly.
Online Tutoring:

Online lessons are priced at the same rate as in-person lessons: R95/hour. This is an excellent option if you want flexibility and convenience, especially if traveling to lessons isn’t feasible.

Travel Costs:

If I need to travel to meet you for in-person lessons, there’s an additional fee of R88. This covers my travel expenses, ensuring I can deliver quality tutoring wherever you’re located.
Free Lesson:

I offer a 1-hour free lesson to help us get started. This session allows me to understand your needs, goals, and current progress, while also allowing you to see if my teaching style works for you. It’s a no-pressure introduction to what I can offer.
