About Jacob

I am a Mathematics tutor with more than five years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics. Over the years, I have worked with learners at advanced high school and early university levels. My focus lies in teaching mathematical logic, proof theory, and formal reasoning. These subjects form the backbone of higher mathematics and critical thinking. I guide students through propositional logic, predicate logic, and foundational set theory. Each concept is carefully explained and reinforced with exercises. To make learning engaging, I introduce paradoxes and problem-solving challenges. These spark curiosity and strengthen abstract reasoning. I have experience with students from philosophy, computer science, and pure mathematics. Each discipline brings unique perspectives, and I adapt lessons to match their goals. My aim is to build not only technical skill but also confidence in reasoning. With practice, students learn to construct rigorous arguments and solve complex problems. If you are ready to master logical reasoning and embrace the art of proof, I would be happy to guide your journey.

About the lesson

My approach in teaching Mathematics begins with breaking down concepts into easy steps. I focus on core ideas before moving into advanced problem-solving. Calculus and pre-calculus are major strengths of my teaching.

I also integrate areas like graphing, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. These skills help students prepare for exams and also for research-related work. Structured data exercises sharpen reasoning and clarity.

I enjoy working with students who often feel math is difficult. By using patience and relatable examples, I turn that fear into confidence.

My sessions combine deep analysis and practice, which develops logical reasoning. Over time, students refine their ability to solve complex problems.

Together, we aim not just for better grades but also long-term success in math and data analysis.
