About Skylar
"Growing up as a first-generation student taught me that math is mostly about spotting patterns that others miss. I hold a BS in Math from Princeton and an MS in CS which informs my 12 years of quantitative experience. I often work with students prepping for board exams or complex entrance tests.
My teaching emphasizes conceptual learning over simple memorization of formulas. Whether we are discussing trigonometry or probability and statistics, I focus on building your mental math speed. I have helped 108 students simplify word problems and improve their confidence in competitive settings. It feels good to see these concepts finally click."
