About Amy
I have tutored a multitude of students in the past, the teachers of which have all reported a marked improvement in the students' quality of work and knowledge of their subject. I tutored in other subjects as well as Mathematics (including English, Science, and Music) as I have a good understand of all core subjects.
I achieved 9s in 9 of my GCSEs (Maths, English Language, English Literature, and am well on target to gain A*s in all four of my A Levels (which are Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Psychology, and Economics). I also have a vast array of interests besides academics including music (I am proficient on a multitude of instruments) and community work.

As I am still a student myself, I understand that everyone learns differently. As such, I will adapt lesson plans according to the individual needs of prospective tutees.
I will always ensure that I have revised topics highlighted as needing attention in order to explain them with confidence and in detail, and will prepare various methods of teaching for each lesson. I believe that having a range of techniques is beneficial to developing a comprehensive understanding of the topic, which the result I hope to provide.

Details
If a job requires me to travel outside of my specified range (i.e., greater than 5km) I may ask for assistance to cover the cost of travel. This would be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Please also note that my rate is simply a guideline - I do not have any official training and appreciate that, in some ways, this makes me less valuable than a trained tutor. This said, I do genuinely believe that I would be able to help tutees to a significant extent despite my limited life experience which makes me better value for money!
