About Harry
I’m a mathematics graduate from the University of Melbourne with a strong passion for mathematics and education. Having studied in both New Zealand and Australia, I understand that every student has a different learning style and different challenges when it comes to mathematics. I enjoy teaching because I find it rewarding to see students gradually turn difficult concepts into something they can understand and solve with confidence. As a tutor, I hope to share not only my mathematical knowledge, but also the problem-solving strategies and study habits that have helped me throughout my own academic journey.

I believe the best way to improve in mathematics is to understand the concepts clearly and then practise applying them to different types of questions. My online lessons focus on clear explanations, targeted exercises and step-by-step problem solving. I mainly teach Year 10–12 Mathematics, adapting each lesson to the student’s current level, areas for improvement and learning goals. I achieved an A* in Cambridge International A Level Mathematics, a rigorous worldwide pre-university mathematics course covering pure mathematics, statistics and mechanics, and have a strong mathematics background from the University of Melbourne. I aim to help students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills and become more independent learners.
