About Taya
I have been teaching Mathematics for 10 years, working with learners from school level through advanced exam preparation. I hold an M.A in Pure Mathematics, which strengthened my understanding of abstract reasoning, structured proof, and the deeper beauty of mathematical systems. This academic background helps me explain concepts in a way that is both clear and intellectually enriching.
My teaching style is supportive, focused, and student-centred. I believe learners succeed best when they feel encouraged, not pressured. I break difficult ideas into manageable steps and guide students patiently until understanding becomes natural. Whether a student is struggling with basics or aiming for high achievement, I provide structure, reassurance, and steady challenge.
Beyond tutoring, I remain deeply connected to mathematics through problem-solving research, reading modern theory, and exploring how mathematics supports technology and science. Teaching is meaningful to me because I see students transform from uncertainty into confidence. I want every learner to leave my lessons feeling capable, resilient, and proud of their mathematical growth.

Mathematics is not only about getting the correct answer, but about learning how to think with clarity and precision. In my lessons, students explore numbers, algebra, geometry, and problem-solving methods through explanations that feel logical and approachable. I focus on building strong foundations first, then guiding learners towards deeper reasoning. Each session is designed to help students feel steady, supported, and capable, even when topics seem challenging at first. We work through examples slowly, uncover patterns, and strengthen understanding through practice that feels meaningful rather than repetitive.
My approach changes depending on the learner’s level and goals. Beginners build comfort with arithmetic, equations, and basic structure. Intermediate students improve multi-step problem solving, coordinate geometry, and function analysis. Advanced learners focus on calculus thinking, probability strategies, and high-level exam preparation. I include mental flexibility exercises, structured worksheets, and guided corrections so progress becomes consistent and motivating.
Maths becomes powerful when students start trusting their own thinking. Over time, learners develop calm confidence, sharper logic, and stronger academic performance across many subjects. My goal is to help every student grow into someone who can approach mathematics with clarity, courage, and real skill.
