About Harper
I have 10 years of experience teaching Mathematics, supporting students across different levels as they develop confidence and strong problem-solving skills. I earned a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics, which gave me insight into both theoretical understanding and practical applications of mathematical reasoning. Over the years, I have helped learners transform mathematics from a source of anxiety into a subject they can approach with clarity, patience, and belief in their ability to succeed.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and deeply focused on understanding. I believe students thrive when they learn the logic behind methods rather than memorizing steps. I enjoy guiding learners through algebraic reasoning, calculus foundations, and exam preparation with explanations that match their pace and learning style. My lessons emphasize long-term skill development and independent thinking.
Outside of tutoring, I stay connected to mathematics through continual study of modern applications in science, technology, and engineering. Teaching mathematics is meaningful because I witness students gain confidence and intellectual strength. My goal is to help every learner become a capable, resilient, and confident problem solver who feels empowered by mathematics.

Mathematics becomes far more enjoyable when students stop seeing it as intimidating symbols and begin understanding it as clear logical thinking. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus foundations with step-by-step explanation that builds confidence steadily. I focus on helping students develop strong reasoning skills, accurate problem-solving habits, and a calm approach to challenging questions. Each session is designed to feel supportive, structured, and encouraging, so learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace.
Lessons are adapted to match each student’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic foundations, algebraic manipulation, and basic geometry understanding. Intermediate students develop stronger skills in functions, probability, multi-step equations, and exam-style reasoning. Advanced learners focus on calculus techniques, mathematical modeling, analytical depth, and preparation for competitive assessments. Practice problems, feedback, and guided correction are woven into every lesson to ensure steady improvement and long-term understanding.
Mathematics builds persistence, clarity, and intellectual confidence. As students grow stronger, they begin to trust their own thinking and approach problems with calm focus.
