About Lena
My passion for mathematics began in childhood, driven by fascination with patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, deepening my understanding of advanced concepts, abstract theory, and applied problem-solving strategies. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students of all levels, helping them transform uncertainty into mastery, develop confidence, and enjoy the beauty of mathematical reasoning.
I employ a patient, structured, and adaptive teaching approach, emphasizing understanding over memorization. I break complex problems into manageable steps, provide illustrative examples, and encourage active participation and independent exploration. My focus is on nurturing analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and strategic problem-solving skills that help students excel academically and personally.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematical research, problem-solving challenges, and applied applications, enriching my lessons with real-world relevance. Teaching mathematics is profoundly rewarding because I witness students develop confidence, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to approach challenges methodically and creatively, equipping them for long-term success.
