About Liam
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and have spent 8 years tutoring students across various levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, patience, and building a strong conceptual foundation, helping learners develop confidence in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
I use visual aids, real-life examples, and stepwise explanations to ensure students understand both the methods and reasoning behind mathematical concepts. I tailor lessons to each learner’s pace, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and independent thinking.

Mathematics becomes exciting when learners understand not only the methods but the reasoning behind them. My lessons focus on algebra, geometry, calculus, and problem-solving, using simple explanations, illustrative examples, and step-by-step guidance. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, try multiple approaches, and build a solid understanding of mathematical principles that can be applied in exams, competitions, or real-life scenarios.
Lessons are structured according to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on arithmetic, basic equations, and geometric shapes. Intermediate learners explore functions, coordinate geometry, and applied problem-solving strategies. Advanced learners study calculus fundamentals, logical reasoning challenges, and problem-solving in multi-step contexts. Every session integrates practice exercises, discussion, and explanation to ensure learners understand the concepts thoroughly and develop critical thinking skills.
The aim of my lessons is to make mathematics accessible, enjoyable, and practical. Learners develop problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and confidence. By connecting abstract concepts with practical examples, students build a deep appreciation for mathematics. I ensure lessons are interactive, motivating, and intellectually stimulating, supporting every student’s growth and success.
