About Raghav

I earned a PhD in Computational Mathematics and have spent 12 years teaching mathematics to students at a variety of academic levels. My fascination with mathematics began through an appreciation for logical reasoning and the ability of mathematical models to explain complex systems. This interest eventually led me to pursue advanced study and dedicate my career to education.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped students prepare for examinations, university programmes, and advanced academic pathways. I believe mathematics should be taught in a way that encourages understanding, confidence, and independent thinking. By adapting lessons to suit individual learners, I help students overcome challenges and make meaningful progress.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy studying mathematical applications in technology, scientific computing, and data analysis. These interests allow me to connect theoretical concepts with practical uses and make lessons more engaging. Watching students develop confidence in their abilities and achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics provides powerful tools for understanding patterns, solving problems, and making informed decisions. My lessons focus on helping students develop a strong understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics through logical explanation and structured learning. Rather than encouraging memorisation, I help learners understand the reasoning behind mathematical methods so they can apply concepts confidently in different situations.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs and academic goals. Students building foundational skills receive detailed guidance and clear explanations, while advanced learners explore deeper analytical thinking and more challenging problem-solving activities. Through worked examples, visual methods, and targeted practice, students gradually strengthen both understanding and accuracy.

I aim to create an encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. Mathematics is not only about finding answers but also about developing logical thinking and perseverance. My goal is to help learners become confident problem solvers who can approach challenges with curiosity and determination.
