About Anthony

Anthony was born and raised in the hills of Donegal. Having had a natural flair and burning passion for Mathematics in school, he decided to pursue his interests at NUI Galway. This challenging and exciting epoch included an exchange in Hong Kong. After returning and graduating from NUIG, he continued his mathematical development at the University of Nottingham. Upon completing his course in England, he chose to explore other interests by heading back East. Four years of teaching Science in international schools throughout China was brought to an abrupt end with the emergence of Covid-19. Eighteen months later, and he is happily back home and thrilled to be able to assist you in your Maths hurdles.

About the lesson

I offer customized one-on-one or in group online tutoring to help you learn Mathematics. I will deliver a customized learning plan designed to address each student's needs, whether they started out far behind or are already ahead in Math. Each lesson lasts for 60 minutes in virtual classrooms through Zoom by using various teaching platforms like Bublup, Folenshive, and JC Fallon. I offer lessons for College, High School and Middle School students. The instruction approach goes beyond traditional Math tutoring to develop understanding and build a love for Math.

Having had a natural flair and burning passion for Mathematics in school, I decided to pursue my interests at NUI Galway. This challenging and exciting epoch included an exchange in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After returning and graduating from NUIG, I continued my mathematical development at the University of Nottingham.

I have two years of online teaching experience and prior to that I taught science and math in China for four years in Hangzhou.
