About Ryan
Hi! I'm Ryan, an enthusiastic Mathematics Graduate that is looking to provide high quality maths tutoring to children aged 11-18.
As I have previously studied mathematics to degree level, I have a solid understanding of what is needed to excel at all levels of examinations. I can develop strong relationships with my students using an encouraging and patient approach to give them the confidence needed to succeed.
I hold a 2:1 BSc Degree in Mathematics from the University of Hull and I am currently studying towards my MSc in mathematics as well as a PCGE in secondary education.

I offer mathematics tutoring for all ages from key stage 1 to A level. I can also offer support with adults needing to gain their functional skills.
My initial lesson consists of identifying the areas of maths that you may need improvement. This will be done via working through an exam together and seeing if any problems arise.
After this lesson we will then begin learning the specific topics that you may need.

Ryan started helping my son (age 17) about a month ago with A level Maths. I find Ryan very approachable and he replies to messages very fast.
My son is a tricky customer some of his teachers have historically found his attitude to learning challenging and Leon’s happy to coast along (capable but lazy). Having said all this Ryan has managed to get him back in love with maths and engaged in learning.
