About Luna
My interest in mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, structures, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with expertise in abstract reasoning, analytical methods, and practical applications. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students across all levels, helping them develop both conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence through structured guidance and personalized support.
I believe effective teaching combines clarity, patience, and active engagement. Many learners struggle with abstract ideas or prior difficulties, so I emphasize breaking complex topics into manageable steps, using relatable examples, and reinforcing understanding through interactive exercises. My approach ensures learners not only master procedures but also gain insight into the logic underlying mathematical concepts.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematics through research, problem-solving challenges, and exploring innovative teaching methods. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence, curiosity, and independent thinking is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in building strong skills, intellectual curiosity, and an appreciation for mathematics is the most fulfilling part of my professional journey.

Mathematics lessons are structured to develop a deep understanding of concepts and enhance analytical thinking skills that students can apply across a wide range of problems. I guide learners through algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, probability, combinatorics, and statistics, using real-life examples and interactive exercises to make concepts tangible. Each session emphasizes reasoning, exploration, and clarity, ensuring learners not only solve problems but understand the principles behind them.
For beginners, lessons focus on building a strong foundation with step-by-step guidance on arithmetic, algebraic manipulations, geometric visualization, and numerical reasoning. Intermediate learners advance to multi-step problem-solving, function analysis, calculus applications, probability modeling, and combinatorial strategies. Advanced learners engage in complex proofs, abstract problem solving, optimization techniques, and preparation for competitions or exams. Every session integrates examples, practice exercises, and personalized feedback to reinforce understanding and build confidence.
Mathematics education also develops critical thinking, structured reasoning, and resilience. Students gain the ability to approach unfamiliar challenges with logical strategies, analyze problems systematically, and build confidence in independent learning.
