About Celeste
My fascination with mathematics began as a child, intrigued by patterns, logic, and problem-solving in everyday life. This curiosity led me to earn a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical analytical skills. Over 11 years, I have worked with learners across diverse levels, helping them strengthen conceptual understanding, reasoning ability, and problem-solving confidence.
I employ a student-centered approach that combines visual explanations, step-by-step exercises, real-life applications, and iterative feedback. I encourage learners to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and develop independent thinking skills. My teaching focuses on building mastery while fostering curiosity and a love for mathematics.
Outside the classroom, I engage in research, applied mathematics projects, and problem-solving challenges, which enrich my lessons with contemporary examples. Watching students transform uncertainty into confidence, clarity, and analytical competence is highly rewarding. Supporting learners to become capable, thoughtful, and resilient mathematicians remains the central focus of my work.

Mathematics becomes truly engaging when students understand not just formulas but the logic behind each problem. My lessons encompass algebra, calculus, geometry, probability, and applied mathematics, focusing on conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and practical application. I integrate visual aids, real-life scenarios, stepwise problem-solving, and interactive exercises to encourage deep understanding and confidence. Each session is designed to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and intellectual independence, empowering learners to approach complex challenges with clarity and strategy.
Lesson structure is personalized to the student’s level. Beginners focus on foundational arithmetic, basic algebra, and logical reasoning exercises. Intermediate learners explore multi-step problems, geometric constructions, functions, and statistical analysis through guided practice. Advanced learners engage in proofs, modeling, optimization, and competition-style problems, supported by iterative feedback and independent problem-solving. The sessions emphasize comprehension, application, and skill development for both academic and real-world contexts.
Mathematics education enhances analytical thinking, structured reasoning, and resilience in problem-solving. Students learn to approach challenges creatively and logically, developing confidence and curiosity along the way.
