About Lena
My interest in mathematics began in early school years, drawn by patterns, logic, and the satisfaction of solving problems. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, where I honed my knowledge of analytical and problem-solving methods. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students across different levels, focusing on conceptual clarity, practical application, and developing confidence in their mathematical abilities.
I use a structured and patient teaching approach. Beginners receive visual explanations, guided exercises, and step-by-step problem-solving methods to grasp fundamental concepts. Intermediate students explore more complex topics, enhancing logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and application of theory. Advanced learners tackle challenging problems, project-based applications, and reasoning exercises, preparing them for higher education or competitive exams. My lessons aim to develop independent thinking, curiosity, and confidence, ensuring students are not just memorizing procedures but truly understanding mathematics.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with applied mathematics research, problem-solving communities, and educational innovations. I use these insights to make lessons relevant, current, and interesting, connecting abstract ideas to real-life scenarios. Watching students progress from hesitation to mastery, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm for mathematics is deeply fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to empower learners with the knowledge, analytical skills, and motivation to succeed academically and beyond.

Students are encouraged to explore multiple approaches, reason logically, and develop resilience when tackling challenging problems. Lessons are personalized to each student’s learning style, ensuring steady progress and deeper understanding while making learning engaging and enjoyable.
