About Reagan
My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logical structures, and the power of quantitative reasoning to describe the world. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with comprehensive knowledge of theoretical and applied mathematics. Over 11 years, I have taught students of diverse ages and abilities, guiding them to develop conceptual clarity, problem-solving competence, and independent thinking skills through interactive, engaging lessons.
I focus on making mathematics accessible, encouraging, and intellectually stimulating. Many students face challenges with abstract concepts, so I break topics into manageable steps, provide clear examples, and emphasize understanding over memorization. This approach builds confidence, fosters curiosity, and equips learners with tools to tackle problems creatively and independently.
Outside teaching, I engage with mathematical research, competitive problem solving, and innovative instructional methods, which enrich my lessons and bring real-world relevance into the classroom. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to confidence, skill, and enthusiasm is profoundly rewarding. Supporting learners in mastering mathematics and cultivating appreciation for its elegance and practical utility is the most fulfilling part of my professional journey.

Mathematics lessons are structured to help students not just solve problems but deeply understand underlying concepts. Lessons emphasize the application of concepts to practical problems, creating a learning environment that balances challenge with support and fosters long-term retention.
For beginners, lessons focus on building strong foundations, including arithmetic operations, basic algebraic manipulations, introductory geometry, and fundamental functions. Intermediate learners explore multi-step problem solving, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, probability modeling, and calculus applications. Advanced learners tackle abstract proofs, optimization problems, combinatorial thinking, and competition-level exercises.
