About Chelsea
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, structures, and problem-solving strategies. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and later an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, gaining both theoretical insight and practical experience with modeling and analysis. Over 8 years, I have guided learners from foundational arithmetic to advanced calculus and linear algebra, helping them build confidence, conceptual clarity, and analytical skills.
I prioritize a supportive, interactive teaching style where students can explore, ask questions, and develop a deep understanding of concepts. By using visualizations, real-world examples, and structured exercises, I make complex ideas approachable and memorable. Each session is designed to strengthen reasoning, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in computational mathematics, modeling projects, and algorithmic analysis, bringing practical insights into lessons. Witnessing students evolve from uncertainty to mastery, gain confidence, and develop curiosity for mathematics is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate a learning experience that empowers students to embrace mathematics as a tool for thinking critically and solving meaningful problems.

My lessons cover algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization techniques, focusing on building conceptual understanding alongside computational skills. I emphasize structured reasoning, logical thinking, and methodical approaches that help learners tackle both classroom exercises and real-world problems with confidence.
For beginners, I introduce core concepts such as arithmetic operations, fundamental algebra, and geometric principles, ensuring clarity and a strong foundation. Intermediate learners explore functions, coordinate geometry, probability, and calculus, applying techniques through problem-solving exercises and structured challenges. Advanced learners study linear algebra, multivariable calculus, mathematical modeling, and optimization, gaining deeper analytical skills and precision in reasoning. Each lesson is designed to challenge students appropriately while fostering engagement, understanding, and self-confidence.
Through mathematics, students develop critical thinking, abstract reasoning, and analytical skills that extend beyond academics. They learn to analyze complex problems systematically, apply logical reasoning, and approach challenges with creativity and confidence. My goal is to help learners cultivate a love for mathematics, develop independence in problem-solving, and build strong foundations that support success in academic, professional, and real-world contexts.
